As you navigate the exhibition, you’ll be put to the test as you learn about weightlessness, experience the sights, sounds and smells you might find aboard an orbiting space station and discover how astronauts eat, sleep, and even go to the bathroom in space! You’ll also get a look at all the ways in which the forbidding environment of space can kill the humans who explore it.

Using interactive exhibits and authentic artifacts, Journey to Space immerses you in the extraordinary conditions of human space travel, including the very real dangers that astronauts face during their missions above Earth as well as the unique challenges and rewards of life on board the International Space Station (ISS).

As you navigate the exhibition, you’ll be put to the test as you learn about weightlessness, experience the sights, sounds and smells you might find aboard an orbiting space station and discover how astronauts eat, sleep, and even go to the bathroom in space!
